Summary of previous seasons
Star vs Forces of Evil series centers around a 14-year-old magical princess star butterfly from Mewni who is sent to earth by her father, King River, and Mother Queen Moon Butterfly. The princess’s parents decided that she should learn to twirl magic in their world. The protagonist, Star Butterfly, started living with a Mexican-American family named Diaz. The Diaz family had a son Marco Diaz. Star Butterfly started going to high school with Marco and lived with his family. Star Butterfly faces her enemies and battles villains throughout the universe to keep her Royal Wand safe.
In Season 2, The protagonist Star Butterfly’s Royal wand is damaged, but she reluctantly learns to use magic without her. Back there in Mewni, the immortal Villain Toffee defeated the Magical High Commission. Chancellor Lekmet sacrifices his life to revive the lives of his defeated allies. As Mewni was in danger, Star Butterfly was called back home to participate in the War conflict.
In Season 3, The Protagonist Star Butterfly becomes the acting Queen because her mother, Queen Moon butterfly, was missing after the latest conflict. Season 3 basically revolves around Mewni. Marco felt depressed without Princess Star Butterfly and hence often visited Mewni. The Villainous Meteora Butterfly attacks the Mewni Kingdom.
In Season 4, After Eclipsa became the Queen of Mewni, Star Butterfly began searching for her mother. Moon Butterfly was suffering from Amnesia and was recovering from it. Meanwhile, Eclipsa was taking major political decisions in the kingdom, catering to the kingdom’s population.
The series ends with Marco and Star getting reunited. Eclipse gave the throne back to Queen Moon Butterfly and merged Mewni and Earth as a single Planet.
When is Star vs Force of Evil Season 5 releasing?
Although fans have been waiting for Star vs Forces of Evil Season 5 for a year, there is still no official statement made by Daron Nefcy. Daron’s tweet indirectly indicated that season 4 was the end of the Disney Animation series. But fans’ love for the series has peaked by signing a petition in favor of releasing season 5 of Star vs Forces of Evil. As of now, no latest news has been there, but fans are expecting that Daron would kneel against their wishes.
